# Embed Videos in Gutenberg

Guides for embedding YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Dailymotion, and more in Gutenberg using the Custom iFrame WordPress plugin. No coding required.


## Overview

Custom iFrame lets you embed videos in Gutenberg from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Dailymotion, Rumble, and more. Paste any video URL into the block. No API keys, no shortcodes, no coding required.

## How to Embed a Video in Gutenberg

All video platforms follow the same three-step process.

### Step 1: Get Your Video Link

    Go to the platform where your video is hosted: YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or any other supported source.

    Find the share or copy-link option on the video. Copy the URL to your clipboard.

### Step 2: Add the Custom iFrame Block

    Go to the page or post where you want the video. Click **Edit** to open the Gutenberg block editor.

    Click the **Add Block** button. Search for **Custom iFrame**. Click the block to add it to the page.

### Step 3: Paste the URL and Publish

    In the right panel, paste the URL into the **Source URL** field. The video player appears inside the block.

    Set **Height** to 450px for a standard 16:9 video, or enable **Auto Height**. Click **Update** or **Publish**.
